Thales secures Top 20 ranking in annual Flight International report

Flight International have just published their Top 100 ranking of worldwide aerospace players. Thales is ranked in 11th place, up one on last year’s rating.

The ranking is based on the financial performance of each company. Flight International also adds a thumbnail analysis of each company’s situation. Regarding Thales, the magazine notes that “profitability has been an issue at Thales, but a push to better co-ordinate sales and engineering may cut costs and help keep projects on track. The Paris-headquartered company is driving hard to be a technology leader, too, with a creative array of integrated cockpit, navigation and in-flight entertainment concepts.”
