Sabena technics and Thales sign a five-year maintenance services agreement

Sabena technics, a key player in component maintenance, and Avionics Services Worldwide, the entity within Thales’ Avionics Division in charge of providing dedicated support and services for avionics in the civil aerospace market have signed a five-year maintenance services agreement.

Within the scope of this contract, Sabena technics is granted access to Thales technical and parts support for its in house maintenance activity, whilst Thales offers its best repair service with guaranteed TAT (turn around time). This agreement covers both the Air Transport and Regional aircraft platforms, including Airbus Narrow-Body and Long-Range aircraft families as well as ATRs. “This agreement marks a further step in our goal to satisfy each and every customer”, said Rodolphe Marchais, Chairman and CEO of Sabena technics. “Indeed, in an environment where costs and TATs are priorities, I am confident that both companies will work hand in hand to offer the best possible service.” “This collaboration enables Thales to further enhance its footprint in component maintenance”, said Jean-Louis Viala, VP&GM EuMEA for Thales Avionics. “We are looking forward to supporting Sabena technics with a best in class service.”
