Babcock France looks to Thales for new Parts-by-the-Hour contract

Our contract covers the entire MEGHAS® avionics suite, including the Vehicle and Engine Monitoring Display (VEMD), Caution and Advisory Display (CAD), Smart Multifunction Displays (SMDs), control panels, air data units, temperature probes and more.

The Thales PBH coverage will provide Babcock France with guaranteed availability of parts based on advanced exchanges and predictable maintenance cost based on a flat rate per flight hour.

This contract follows recent announcements from Airbus Helicopters and Babcock, who have been selected by the French Ministry of Armed Forces Directorate of Aeronautical Maintenance (DMAé) to ensure support and maintenance for the helicopters.

Thales is very much looking forward to contributing to the success of Babcock in supporting the Sécurité Civile and the French Gendarmerie Nationale.
