Prototyping and simulation platform : I-DECK cockpit for A350 XWB (Extra Wide Body)

I-Deck demonstrator in configuration of Airbus A350 XWB cockpit. I-Deck is a cockpit prototyping and
simulation platform enables airframers and their
customers to design, validate and test future avionics
suite configurations and functionalities prior to full-scale
development. I-Deck is based on a generic hardware platform connected to a simulated aircraft environment that includes complete phases of flight and integrates
complete sets of sub-systems and functions such as
interactive Flight Management System, Terrain
Awareness and Warning System (TAWS), Head Up
Display (HUD), Digital Map and Cockpit Controls. The I-Deck is the only demonstrator that gives
the possibility to see and appreciate what the new long range A350 XWB (eXtra Wide Body)øs cockpit will look like.
