AVANT on board Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique

Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique selected Thales to supply its latest generation of inflight entertainment solution AVANT for their new fleet of B737 aircraft.

The new B737-800 series aircraft will be equipped with the Thales AVANT inflight entertainment based on Android technologies to service business class and economy class cabins as a scaled solution. The first deliveries are scheduled to enter service in 2016.

All passengers will enjoy audio and video on demand. In business class cabin, passengers will enjoy a 12.1 inch seatback mounted screens with touchscreen functionality and handsets. The economy cabin will be equipped with 9 inch monitors, and both cabins will have in-seat power, USB Jack for Personal Devices use and charging.

Thales AVANT inflight entertainment solution is available to all advanced, single and twin aisle Airbus and Boeing aircraft.
