Luxair renews its confidence in Thales for avionics equipment maintenance services

Oct 24. 2018  Luxair has signed a six year extension of its existing Avionics By The Hour (ABTH) maintenance and spares services agreement with Thales to cover its entire Bombardier Q400 fleet of 11 aircraft until mid-2024.

Under the terms of the contract, Thales will cover both spare stock and repairs from its warehouse in Chatellerault, France.

Eric Huber, Vice-President for Thales - Avionics Services Worldwide said: “When every minute matters, Thales has a key role to play in keeping aircraft flying on schedule. Not only do we have a long collaboration with Luxair, but we were selected because of our 100% avionics parts availability."

Luxair and Thales have been collaborating for eleven years. Their first contract was signed in 2007, and since then, the relationship built through this cooperation, has delivered an ever improving quality and reliability levels of support.
